The Wizard of the Emerald City is a children's novel loosely based on L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with many new and different elements both in the plot and set of characters. Volkov's Magic Land series including this volume was translated into many languages and remains popular with children and adults all over the World.
